Abstract: As an insurance recipient you have no control over the disbursement of your benefits, it is all left in the hands of the company and when or how they feel that their services are needed. Even if there is an evaluation of the level of care, they may still be able to deny the recipient's request. This leads to the recipient having forty- eight hours to decide to private pay or remove themselves from the facility which can leads to an increase in depression.
