Abstract: Children's Service's workers are facing burnout and turnover at a high rate. One article even calls it a "mass exodus." One factor that contributes to that is the high caseload each worker has. This study is aimed to find out what the effects of high caseloads are before the burnout and turnover occurs - how the high caseloads effect the worker's quality of work while they are still on the job. This is a qualitative study that will involve sending out a survey to various children's services counties across to country to see what the workers have felt about the relationship between caseload size and their quality of work.
