Abstract: Ohio recently legalized the use of medical marijuana but many of those in health care may be unsure of the implications of its use. Since studies demonstrate that healthcare providers feel that they could benefit from additional education, an evidence-based presentation was developed to inform medical surgical nurses on new Ohio laws, policy, and potential outcomes. A post test was provided to evaluate the effectiveness of our education.
