Abstract: Violence happens all around the world for many reasons and sometimes there are no reasons. Regardless of why it happens, Violence affects everyone. In this study, it focuses on how violence affects children. This study examines other research on the impact violence has on children and compares it to children that has been involved and helped by the Cincinnati Police Victim Assistance Unit agency. The study includes survey answers from parents with children that experienced violence. These surveys reveals a parent's prospective on how violence effected their child.
