Abstract: Diversity refers to the traits and characteristics that make people unique while inclusion refers to the behaviors and social norms that ensure people feel welcome. ​The concept of diversity and inclusion has been lingering amongst many for years now. As further research is conducted on the topic, there is a rising interest in business, universities and other institutions in wanting to implement the practices. Essentially, incorporating the concepts of diversity and inclusion in the workplace is a choice. The impact of diversity and inclusion is so great that it should not be a choice, in fact, it should be required. Therefore, in order to establish a valid argument behind why it should no longer be a choice, we have developed an effective research topic and approach.
