Abstract: This research paper has analyzed data from Brown County Department of Children's Services. It has taken a look into cases of physical/sexual abuse, neglect, and illicit drug use by parents/guardians. From the information given, research has been conducted to determine in which cases children were reunified. It is believed that children that are removed due to parental/guardian drug abuse are reunified at a lower rate than children that are removed due to physical/sexual abuse, and neglect.
