Abstract: The CPD's Victims Advocate Unit provides 8 sessions, once-a-week support group for children who lost a loved one to homicide. This research is determining if 8 sessions is enough for these children to obtain what is being taught to them in regards to coping skills and being able to express their emotions in a positive way.
