    Laura Halsey Brown received her Master’s degree in Fine Arts from California Institute for Arts in Valencia, CA. She is an artist with 20years of experience in arts and museum education. She is presently the Artist Director of senseofplace LAB inSan Francisco. senseofplace LABemerges in the interdisciplinary space of art, architecture and social engagement. Laurafounded it as an artistic laboratory in San Francisco in 2008, based on research/art in New York Cityand the Netherlands since 2000. senseofplace LABdevelops public projects to inspire being “present in place.”
