Publishing Ethics

Papers submitted to focus on German Studies are subject to rigorous peer review.

focus on German Studies has a double blind review process: Authors are not told who reviewed their paper. The peer referees’ identity remains unknown to the authors throughout the review process. As per the double-blind principle, the author’s identity will also remain unknown to the peer reviewer (see link on removing metadata under Author Guidelines). Articles are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers in two rounds.
