About the Journal
Mediated Minds is a research conference for undergraduate students at all University of Cincinnati campuses. It is held at the Blue Ash campus during Spring Semester. The conference features students’ research and creative work, providing them with the opportunity to participate in a professional conference. Presentation formats include oral presentations, posters, panels, roundtable discussions, and other creative or scholarly work.
About the journal: These proceedings include undergraduate research work from students at the University of Cincinnati. This research can be work done as participation in faculty research, but it also includes independent research by undergraduates. Student work included in this publication also extends to creative work that might be poetry, art installations, or other creative endeavors. Any student is welcome to submit an application to participate, and the conference organizers support these students through workshops and faculty support to create the best work they can to share with the university community. These proceedings celebrate student authorship, and they bring undergraduate work into the professional discourse of published work.
