Abstract

“Capturing the light” studio moves beyond an introduction to fundamental design principles and the acquisition of technical skills. Our pedagogical intention is to engage the historical background as students develop two- and three-dimensional skillsets in an effort to help them understand where they stand historically in the continuum of the discipline’s evolution.
