Abstract

This work describes a handful of recent research efforts and case studies of multi-year experiences in the Environmental Design program at Texas A&M University and Environmental and Interior Design program at Syracuse University, in order to illustrate the strengths and weaknesses of both manual and digital drafting methods when introduced as design drafting tools to beginning design students.
