Abstract

This article presents the story of the Boa Pra a Movement, a Brazilian group that decided to act and occupy, care for and create better public spaces for children and their families in S o Paulo, Brazil, the largest megalopolis in Latin America.

    Carolina Tarrío is a journalist and one of the founders of the Boa Pra a Movement. She is currently also working on the Crian a e Natureza (Childhood and Nature) program at Instituto Alana, in S o Paulo, whose mission is to promote childhoods richer in nature for all children.
