Patsy Eubanks Owens is a Professor of Landscape Architecture in the Human Ecology Department at the University of California, Davis. She holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelors in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on the relationships between people and place including the analysis of landscape use patterns, understanding user preferences, and identifying the needs of specific client groups. Specifically, she is examining the role of the physical environment in the development, health, and well-being of youth, and methods for youth and adult
