Debra Cushing
Dr. Debra Cushing is a Lecturer of Landscape Architecture at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia, where she teaches on people and place theory and landscape design. Her current research areas include, children and youth participation in community planning and design; intergenerational park design to address childhood obesity; experiential learning pedagogies; and environmental education. Debra received her Ph.D. in Design and Planning from the University of Colorado, where she worked with the Children, Youth and Environments Center for Community Engagement.
