William Crain

William Crain is a professor of psychology at The City College of New York. In 2008, he and his wife, Ellen, founded Safe Haven Farm Sanctuary in Poughquag, New York. The sanctuary provides a permanent home to farmed animals rescued from slaughter and abuse. Dr. Crain’s most recent book is The Emotional Lives of Animals and Children: Insights from as Farm Sanctuary.
