  • Karen Malone
    Karen Malone, Ph.D., is Professor of Education and research leader of the sustainability research group for the Centre for Educational Research, at University of Western Sydney. She has researched, taught and written extensively about sustainability education, children’s environments, child-friendly cities, sustainable cities, children’sparticipation, child-centered research and evaluation, socio-cultural understandings of childhood, youth and children’s rights. She has predominantly theorized her work utilizing critical theory but in more recent times has been exploring posthumanism as a theoretical approach.
