Call for Graduate Student Article Submissions
Abstract Submission Deadline: January 10^th, 2022

focus on German Studies, Vol. 29

focus on German Studies is an annually published journal which features the original scholarship of graduate students. We are currently seeking articles for publication for the 29th volume.

focus casts as broad a net as possible, encouraging publication on all aspects of German Studies to reflect the varied intellectual engagement and research conducted by graduate students. We welcome articles from Cultural Studies, Literary Studies, Applied Linguistics, and (Second) Language Studies, Film and Media Studies, and beyond.

Articles should be 15-25 pages in length and will pass 2 rounds of blind peer review before publication. More information on the publishing process can be accessed here.
 
SCHEDULE / PROCEEDINGS:

Submit an abstract of your article (250 words) to Mareike Lange at UCGerman@uc.edu by January 10th, 2022. Please use the subject line “Focus 29 Article Submission”. Decisions will be announced by mid-January.
 
Final articles are due February 27th, 2022, and must be double spaced, and MLA formatted.
