Abstract

Three educators from different universities, the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, the University of Reading in the United Kingdom, and the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, discuss their experience with integrating computer graphics into their graphic design programs. The "conversation" took place via email during a period of seven months. The discussion moves between practical and philosophical issues and between a specific graphic design education perspective and a more general design perspective.
